VIAS (Vehicle Identification and Analysis System)

VIAS is the powerful traffic analysis program that ties the TimeMark system together. It transfer files from the counter to the computer, allows you to edit information about the study, then analyzes the data and creates reports. Plenty of options let you optimize the analysis for the traffic conditions and customize the output to get just what you’re looking for.


Program Features

  • Works with all TimeMark road tube and manual counters

  • Reads files created with all previous versions of TimeMark software, including TMWin

  • Analyzes timestamped road tube event data for volume, speed, classification, gap, and/or per vehicle studies

  • Create and save sets of analysis parameters that can be quickly selected for different situations

  • Set up groups of automated tests (study alerts) to check analysis results for certain conditions

  • Export basic study results to a spreadsheet-friendly text file

  • Includes over 60 standard reports

  • User-defined report page headers with text and graphics

  • Add watermark text or graphics to the background of any report

  • Save reports as PDF files and automatically attach them to new e-mail messages

  • Preference settings for time formatting (system or 24-hour) and units of measurement (metric/SI or imperial)

  • Expandable with custom export and report modules

System Requirements

  • Operating System Windows Vista SP2, Windows 7 SP 1, Windows 8, Windows 10 or later

  • (except Windows 8 RT)

  • Available Hard Disk Space

  • Up to 132 MB for the TimeMark software

  • 4.5 GB for the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.6 (if not already installed)

  • 50 MB for the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable (if not already installed)

  • Additional space for traffic data files (network drives may be used)

  • Internet An Internet connection is required if the setup program must install the Microsoft .NET Framework

  • Display 800 x 600 resolution or better

  • System Permissions Administrator privileges are required to install the software
